Paris, 1985. Vanessa is thirteen years old when she meets Gabriel Matzneff, a well-known fifty-year-old writer. The young teenager becomes the lover and muse of this man celebrated by the cultural and political world. Lost in the relationship, she suffers more and more violently the destructive influence that this predator exerts on her.

For her second film, director Vanessa Filho brings to the screen Le Allowment, the book by Vanessa Springora (published in Italy by La nave di Teseo with the title Il consensus) which caused a sensation in 2020 and which describes the grip that the pedophile writer Gabriel Matzneff had on her as a young teenager. In the wake of the #MeToo movement, the book had enormous success and sparked controversy on pedophilia, pedophilia and freedom of morals in the 1980s and 1990s. The film, thanks to the excellent performers, presents itself as a faithful and rigorous adaptation that reconstructs with modesty and tension a relationship based on seduction and manipulation.
