Étienne is in his early twenties when he falls for Valérie, and a little older when their daughter Rosa is born. When Valérie leaves them, Étienne decides not to let it define their lives. Together, he and Rosa build a happy world. Sixteen years later, as Rosa leaves for university, their separation stirs up buried memories.

In his second feature, after Perdrix, Erwan Le Duc refines his signature tragicomic style to explore family and parent-child relationships. Mixing romance and irony, he tackles serious themes with a light touch. The film seamlessly shifts between comedy, drama, and even road movie, remaining refreshingly unpredictable.

Nahuel Pérez Biscayart (120 BPM) charms with his Buster Keaton-like expressiveness and wide-eyed innocence, while Céleste Brunnquell (Les Éblouis) shines with a vibrant and humorous performance full of talent.
